Ever heard of a wedding banquet that cost 1K over per table? Well, maybe some may think it's nothing but for me, it's an eye opener!

This wedding was held in Raffles, The Plaza, formerly the Westin Stamford and Westin Plaza. The bride is a so-called temple friend. As typical Singaporeans, my family missed the cocktail reception.

As the majestic door opened to a grand spacious conference hall, my eyes opened wide too! The blue dim light shone gently onto the soft purple table cloths, creating a romantic atmosphere. Not only were there white roses arranged nicely together with 2 short candles, white rose petals were found scattering randomly across the tables, adding extra points to the romance.

The service for the night was excellent. Every dish were divided into equal proportions by the waitress. Everyone got their fair share of food even if they went to the loo.

After the hosts gave their speech, the grand door opens once again, I was looking forward to see the bride. I have no idea who she is actually... To my surprise, a wealthy looking, plump lady in her late fifties strolled in with some other formerly dressed guys walking behind. After some clarification from my dad, I was relieved to realise that that's the mom of the groom.

Followed, the family of the bride entered under the applause of the guests. A 5 min animated flash showing the dating and proposing process was played before the couple of the night finally came walking through the grand entrance.

The bride was so pretty and the groom was so handsome!

Excellent atmosphere, excellent arrangement and organization, excellent service and most important of all, the couple was a perfect match!

What can I say... " A Perfect Wedding"
