While waiting for my chemical compounds to be mutated by the laser to give me probably a mystique or cyclops, my brain cells began to swim away from this lab to something interesting again...


I was just wondering, how would things change if instead of having a Death Note, which seems pretty much useless to me, I now have a Grant Note instead. In other words, with this incredible ability to grant the wish of anyone I wish to, I can make simple things not so simple.


For instance, in MRT I'm always quite pissed off with ppl who dun give up their seats for those who need them more than they do. Yet, I'm too chicken to approach them to forsake their seats. I always practise the speech in my head: Hey, could you pls give up the seat for that granny.... Hello, I think you should let the pregnant lady have the seat instead leh! The latter's more for a bad mood me. As usual, I always end up hoping that someone will actually hear my silent prayers. But nah...


So you see, if I have a Grant Note at hand. I just need to jot down the name of the granny/pregnant lady, and grant her a comfortable seat. How nice right? Oh, provided I know the name of the person in need cos that's one of the requirement mentioned in the Death Note. Since I'm doing a good deed, not killing someone, getting the names shouldn't be a problem. Better still if I could have the eyes of the angel who dropped this Grant Note so that I could see their longevity and names without much of a hassle. To exchange the eye balls of the God of Death, one needs to sacrifice half his lifespan. Hmmm... which means to say, if I were to exchange my eyeballs with the Angel of Grant, the opposite should be happening and I can prolong 50% of my current lifespan isn't it? Cool.


Of cos, if others were to know I've got a Grant Note, they would flock to me to have their wishes granted. who knows villains will be after it as well...


Another thing is this storyline will never work on a script cos I feel that majority would prefer to enjoy a dog eat dog world story to a boring forever happy ending one... Not true?
