Finally, my first draft for my progress report's out. Yet to rehearse infront of my boss though. Missed my chance today cos the software I'm using is upgraded version Microsoft 2007. I had difficulty trying to connect my laptop to the projector. nothing new. I'm an IT idiot. At least this technical fault gave me more time to practise on my own before infront of my boss.

Well, I shall now try to recall my 23/24/25 xmas celebrations...

Was in the lab the morning for some short experiments. Either to stop my reflux, or chlorinate/brominate something...can't remember. All I know was no results were obtained on that day. I ended lab work pretty early and went to meet my uni gang. We gathered at katherine's house. Haven't had such gatherings for a long time ever since some of them graduated. All was present that day except for dear Gina who's enjoying herself still in US. HAha... she's returning soon!

Each of us brought a gift for exchange. The procedure goes like this: the christmas song was played, one present at a time, everyone passes it around. Whoever's present was passed during that period controls the music to ensure that he/she doesn't get back their own presents they brought themselves. Once the music stops, holders keepers! =)

Besides exchanging gifts, we played silly games like mini-mahjong, old maid, indian poker, bridge, stacko!

The original plan to Snowcity was cancelled. I don't wish to repeat the reason. Anyway, we gathered around evening. Was pouring then! Argh... what a wet weather.

Games had been planned. Something like amazing race. But the bad weather spoiled everything cause traveling's a problem. So half way through, the game was cut, apparently majority were sick of getting wet in the rain, me inclusive. Had lunch at hmmm... some jap restaurant which I couldn't remember the name. bad memory.

NO plans after the dinner. This seems to be a common problem in this particular clique everytime we had outings. Haiz. BUT gene was holding some great sudoku puzzles, leftovers from the "amazing race"! Well, while others were busy cracking their brains for our next stop, I was busy scribbling numbers onto pieces of papers. HAhaha.. walking and crossing streets with my eyes on black and white instead of looking out for traffic. Sis got freaked out by me.. hee.

Walked to marina square, chose to catch midnight movie Death Note 2. I was living in my own sudoku world while waiting for midnight to arrive. Finally christmas was here! I was seated in the theatre by then. People were triggering off party pops in the pitch dark theatre. Haha! Cheers! MErry Xmas =P

The movie was kinda lengthy but not too bad. They changed the ending to a happier one as in less were killed. But still, I hate it leh.. L had to die in the end. Argh! Why should the good be dead??

After movie took NR home. Yawn.... what a long night. But glad it ended up well. =)

Slept nearly 430am in the morning, so not surprising to be late for my gathering the next morning. Met up at Michelle's house supposedly for serious stuffs but still we never forget to play and enjoy ourselves. The gathering was more of talking hence nothing much to write up on.
