Gosh, sometimes I do wonder who determined the weekdays and weekends. And why on earth did that person made 2 out of 7 days weekends!? This weekend had flown past just like that... and ber's gonna book in again tonight. Sighz. If only saturdays have 48hours.
Hours seemed like months, while days seemed like years. Just when I was looking forward to meeting ber on the wed night, even only for a few hours of book out... something had to happened to spoil our night altogether. Booking out was forbidden for unknown reason. Home made barley for ber gone down my very own tummy. =(
Finally, the long-awaited "well planned" saturday had arrived. Spent an enjoyable time with ber! He was humming the tune to "zhong guo hua" by SHE the whole day! haha...
We went Sentosa early in morning at 9 plus for a nice sun basking. I thought Palawan beach was meant for families cos I dun see any young teens around. It was only later that we saw guys n girls of younger age like US! Well, I guess Siloso beach attracts more teens still.
We didn't get to bask for long cos the plan for that day was kinda packed. k, my bad. We had to catch our show at 1215pm in Vivo, which left us with only till 11 plus at Sentosa. No choice cos the complimentary tics we earned from GV were expiring soon. THink ber didn't managed to tan himself, he still looks as fair leh. Me on the other hand's already charred enough. so I dun need much tan but just wanna enjoy the warmth of the sun. After the sun, we went into the cool water, soaked for a while before we rushed off for shower. I do miss Redang. The waters are worlds apart... ok, but at least better than east coast I think.
Transformers rocks! All friends, pls do watch. One of the executive producer's Steven Spielberg if I'm not wrong. Real cool. The movie was long though and we gotta rush off for our sakae buffet next! Happening ya? More to come. Blur me got the info wrong, cos I failed to see that for saturdays there're NO SAKAE BUFFET! duhz.. we realized this only after entering harborfront centre's sakae. how embarrassing...
Well, determined to have sakae buffet that day we had only one choice left. dinner buffet at CPF building 1730 to 2130. Hanged around Vivo's sky garden, watched pck haha... before we head for the CPF building at Tanjong pagar. As road idiots, we took the directions from the sakae lady at harborfront and boarded bus 30 which head towards tanjong pagar. We counted 3 stops. But after the 3, we'r still on keppel road! OMG, now I know liao. *light bulb* from the bus guide, we need to count the stops on the left as well! We went down the line starting from "harborfront station" to "tanjong pagar" with only 2 stops in between. all these stops were written on the right, we missed those on the left la! eh, doesn't matter if you dun get it, cos anyway you can never be as blur as me. -_-!
We kept pressing the bell for every stop after the 3rd one cos we were afraid of alighting late. But after every press, instinct told us "not this stop!". We gave up in the end and asked the bus driver, who sounded rather pissed with us cos we kept pressing the bell when nobody's alighting. eh, actually we pressed only twice leh. the driver directed us to drop at the next stop and change to bus 10 (but this bus has the same route!) hmmm... we didn't bother but still dropped off at the next stop. we chose to walk instead! brave yea? Honestly, I felt like I'm in some kinda crazy venture leh! haha... quite fun. stomach growling by then le cos we skipped lunch. but nevertheless we managed to reach CPF building after some asking-around at 5 past 5! *applause*
Boy were we full before 7 arrived! haha... ate alot! buffet leh, wat u think?
After the heavy, or rather super heavy meal, we strolled slowly over to Merlion Garden for the fireworks. We reached the hmmm... some bridge nearby for a rest when the fireworks suddenly blasted! Grand sight. though it didn't last long (NDP full dress rehearsal), I enjoyed every moment of it. =)
