CAn't remember when I last step into the gym, anyway it's sure to be a long time ago... I used make it a point to work out in the gym at my uncle's condo on saturdays. But ever since he moved to shanghai with his family and rented out his condo, I never did step into another gym.
Well, the motivation to working out my flabby arms aka water sleeves finally arrived last saturday morning. I went gym with dear. An eye opener it was. The gym's at least 4 times bigger, no I think 5, than the one at my uncle's house. Do I have to mention the equipment? A great variety, enough to train every single piece of your muscle.
I used to do dumbbells for biceps and triceps only. But this trip, I learned alot from dear. In fact I was the only girl doing the weights! Dear taught and demo different work outs that trained the different muscles - biceps, triceps, deltoid, brachioradialis, abs, chest muscles, back muscles blablablah... I think I looked hilarious doing the weight exercises haha... Especially when training the oblique ab muscles. I had to hold a 5kg dumbbell in my hand straight down and swing my upper body slightly side to side without moving my lower body. I looked weird and felt weird. -_-!
The best part is shower after the sweating! I thought I had to do a quick one under the freezing cold waters. No! They had warm showers! Cool yea?
I'm planning to use 1.5L filled bottles and trained at home since I can't make it often to the gym. Alright... not that I'm obsessed with building huge and sturdy muscles, I just want a little toning, that's all.
I need to feel fit & healthy! Moreover, nothing beats exercising together with your partner. =D
